3. Ingestion: Benzene ingestion can occur through water and soil contamination after benzene is spilled.  Right now, it is estimated that over 10,000 sites across the US are dealing with contamination of some type.  Benzene ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or convulsions.
